Thursday, Friday, Saturday!
This sale has been nothing short of bliss to tag! The late Ms. Caison was quite the collector, and the locals seem to know it! When I hand out the flyers, they perk right up, knowing of her fine taste! Roseboro is such a beautiful, quaint town. It’s perfect for a stroll down an old downtown, and what’s not better than passing the time buy going through one of the largest collections of well thought out pieces we’ve seen in one place! After enjoying your time with us at Tatum Estate Sales, there are two fabulous restaurants we’ve tried just around the corner. One is a great Italian place and has the coolest building. The other is a well known steakhouse. There’s also a park to enjoy just steps away.
We love every piece we see! Cast iron (door stops, pots, a pig pie mold, enamel covered cast iron pieces)…the amount of china…we can’t even begin! We drool as we tag! There are two 6 ft tables covered in pewter and the same for the silver! There are vintage toys, well selected vintage Christmas decor (we all love the older ornaments, the earlier Santa figurines, etc.),  more teapots that we can guess, but if we had to…I’d say at least 70. Crocks and jugs…about 40. Vintage planters of every unique kind great for succulents and house plants…at least 100! Wrought iron/iron and metal plant stands, some of the most beautiful old large picture frames! Perfect for hanging alone or for repurposing. Mirrors! Large variety from table top to vanity mirrors, hanging mirrors, all just beautiful! There’s quite the crowd of retro, ornate,  and mid century ash trays. Crystal…it’s all just lovely and includes a grand collection of punch bowl cups, cream and sugars, and whole collections of just pure gorgeous pieces.
There is a golf cart and golf clubs, archery bow, a vintage cigarette dispenser, beautiful black folk art, at least 20 lamps-I love the red bubble one and the two matching crystal ones! The kitchenware…there are at least 4 starburst mixing bowls. Wood, red handled pieces, older large spoons along with silver and silver plated silverware, and a mix of other utensils that are practical and hard to find. Biscuit cutters, choppers, very old cookie cutters, pie plates, cake plates, crock pots, very nice and perfectly sized cutting boards, alot of older books including children’s books, history, biblical, and old classics that look valuable…haven’t had to to look them up yet. Name brands like Hull, McCoy, Hall, Pyrex, Corningware, Nasco, Royal Doulton, at least 60 large pieces of copper including pots, platters, cups, and an assortment of kettles.
We have used the most set up tables ever at this sale! It’s such a vast amount, that we have boxes sitting under tables ready to reload them! There is of course, coins and currency, a great selection of jewelry, and friendly faces! We love our customers and we are so excited to see you all in Roseboro Sept. 28-30!
With Great Anticipation,
